Job Summary

As a Regional Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of districts, mentor District Managers, and drive high-level market strategies. This role requires exceptional strategic foresight, deep financial acumen, and the ability to inspire thousands of associates.

Comprehensive Responsibilities

• Market Strategy: Develop and execute multi-year business plans for the region, focusing on market share growth, competitor analysis, and real estate opportunities.
• Financial Leadership: Oversee the financial performance of 50+ locations, managing regional P&Ls, capital expenditure budgets, and labor optimization strategies.
• Executive Mentorship: Coach and develop a team of District Managers, ensuring strong leadership pipelines and succession planning across all levels.
• Brand Stewardship: Ensure that the Hannaford brand promise is executed flawlessly across the entire region, partnering with merchandising and marketing teams to localize offerings.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age upon application.
• No college degree required; however, 7+ years of senior multi-unit retail management (e.g., District Manager or higher) is strictly required.

• Outstanding executive presence, negotiation skills, and the ability to travel extensively across the region.
