Job Summary

We are actively seeking strategic, highly experienced, and driven leaders to run our supermarkets. As a Store Manager, you will have total ownership over P&L, customer satisfaction metrics, and community engagement. You will serve as the standard-bearer, delivering the signature operational excellence that sets Vons apart in the grocery industry. This is an executive-level store role that requires incredible business acumen and strong people leadership.

Comprehensive Responsibilities

• P&L Accountability: Manage the total store profit and loss, analyzing financial reports to drive top-line sales and aggressively manage labor and shrink controls.
• Total Team Leadership: Direct a team of 100+ associates and managers, overseeing all hiring, performance management, and succession planning.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure absolute compliance with all health department regulations, corporate merchandising standards, and safety protocols.
• Community Focus: Act as the face of Vons in the local neighborhood, partnering with local charities and ensuring the store meets the specific needs of its demographic.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age upon application.
• No college degree required; 3 to 5 years of progressive retail Store Manager or General Manager experience is strictly required.
• Must possess deep knowledge of inventory control, labor scheduling models, and complex P&L statements.
• Ability to lead a large team, adapt to rapidly changing business needs, and maintain a highly visible presence on the sales floor.
